IAA is providing right of way support under two current GEC contracts with FDOT District Seven.  IAA is providing the full scope of acquisition services including negotiations, title review, relocation, closings, suit preparation, and property management services. IAA is currently providing right of way staff to work embedded at the District office.  IAA has been involved in the Districts right of way cost estimating program for the past ten years providing for many of the projects in the five-year work program as well as all their gaming and PD&E projects. Over the ten-year period, IAA has provided cost estimates for many projects impacting several hundred parcels. Our appraisers and right of way cost estimating personnel are well known for providing defendable concise right of way cost estimates to the District

CASE STUDY – TAMPA PRESBYTERIAN VILLAGE RELOCATION PROJECT

Presbyterian Village Relocation Project was completed by IAA staff under the Department’s task assignment through the GEC contract.  IAA personnel and FDOT set up a satellite office at the Presbyterian Village.  The 16 building, 135-unit apartment complex was purchase for $8.4 million in 2014 by FDOT as a part of the I-275 & I-4 Interchange Improvement project.  IAA relocation staff worked diligently along with the FDOT Project Manager and successfully relocated all of the families within the projects compressed schedule.
